what we collect

The public signup form asks only for your email address. Our newsletter system also keeps the subscription status and timestamps needed to confirm, send, unsubscribe, and prevent unwanted future mail.

When email is sent, we may receive delivery, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe events. We may measure aggregate opens and link clicks, but individual open and click tracking is disabled.

• to suppress addresses that bounce or report spam; and
• to protect the signup form and monitor deliverability.

services and sharing

soundbored is self-hosted on Amazon Web Services and uses Amazon SES and SNS to deliver email and process delivery feedback. We do not sell, rent, or trade subscriber information.

The signup form uses a self-hosted ALTCHA proof-of-work check. It does not use an advertising CAPTCHA or third-party CAPTCHA tracking.

retention and your choices

Confirmed subscriptions are retained while subscribed. Unsubscribe, bounce, complaint, and blocklist records may be retained as needed to honor your choice and avoid sending unwanted mail.

You can unsubscribe through any newsletter. Subscriber preference pages also provide options to export or delete your data. You may contact us directly for help.

technical information

The public website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our infrastructure providers necessarily process basic connection information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the service. listmonk is configured not to store signup IP addresses in subscriber records.
