"All my friends are better than your's combined together, you suck" This new single is just as catchy as it is witty, and has been my new go-to remedy after a bad day of interpersonal interactions. It's always interesting to meditate on Zachshots and what makes them so unassuming yet satisfying to listen to. Maybe it's the balance between relatability and sappiness, or how they keep their songwriting grounded with just a guitar and their voices (and the occasional kazoo). It's obvious they're making the music for themselves, not in a selfish way, but an authentic-to-who-they-are way, and that weirdly brings you in as a listener. — Drew

When ur in my city keep your head downnnnn. I might be a twee head at heart, and this song can scratch that itch, but with a jerk-ish inspired beat and some fuckass overdriven bass, it transcends that. This is from 2024 so kinda a throwback. — Lionel
Ooooo shit I was giddy when I found this. This sick song is originally by Everyone Asked About You, a veteran of the late 90's emo wave (check out our Jejune interview if you're into that stuff). And this sick London-based duo masterfully beep-booped said song. I kinda hate when a cover sounds exactly like the original so this was refreshing. — Lionel
Meet the new pop-dance album that Charli XCX fans will pivot to in order to preserve their original taste. Just kidding! This song will have you bouncing and head bopping whether it's in your headphones or speaker or club. — Drew
